Touches me

That promises

and hurts

That lies

and cheats

            and hates

Only the pain

That faithful companion

That is always

             Behind me

A little to the left

              a little to the right

But is always there

like a dark shadow

           following me

A slave and master

Open my heart

What will you see?

A big black hole

Open my soul

It isn’t there
